The 4th International Congress of Cardiac Anesthesia of Iran was held from Wednesday, January 10th to Friday, January 12th, 2024, at the Abu Reyhan International Conference Hall, Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, organized by the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia.

Following the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the efforts of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia and the cooperation of other related societies, as well as the interaction and cooperation of medical equipment and pharmaceutical companies, the 4th International Congress of Cardiac Anesthesia of Iran was held with the participation of approximately 200 medical professionals and cardiac anesthesiologists.

Dr. Alireza Jalali Farahani, the congress president and head of the Iranian Society of Cardiac Anesthesia, stated that the purpose of holding this congress was to enhance scientific knowledge and skills in the field of cardiac anesthesia and to provide better therapeutic services. Dr. Ali Dabbagh, the scientific secretary of the congress, emphasized the advancement of the evolutionary course of scientific activities in the field of cardiac anesthesia in areas that have a superior position in the fourth industrial revolution, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, genetic editing, blockchain, quantum computing, big data, the Internet of Things, robotics, cloud computing, edge computing, self-driving cars, and 5G networks.

Fara Medical Group (Fara Medical Surgery and Arsan Tejarat Abaris) participated in this congress by introducing various anesthesia and respiratory products, vascular access, infusion pumps, and monitoring equipment.
